Summer Recap - Riding

Since i just started this blog and we are nearing the end of the riding season, i wanted to reflect on the riding this summer. Hilites were 3 B's run, several mountain rides along Peak-to-Peak, stops are our favorite watering holes. We did a 2 day iron butt run to Sturgis to get the perfect pair of sunglasses, ok, the perfect 4 pairs of sunglasses. But the accomplishment was me and my bud Bill rode from Denver to Key West. We did this via New Mexico, Texas, Lousiana, Missisippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, the Virginias, DC, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska and back to Colorado. We rode almost 7000 miles in 16 days. Weather cooperated mostly. Notable stops were Galveston, New Orleans, Key West, Daytona, DC, Sioux City. There were other stops but cant remember them now. Great scenery and a once-in-a-lifetime ride. Maybe do the PCH next year and Sturgis with my old-lady. Didnt do many poker runs this year, but will change that next year, as me and the old-lady enjoy those. Meeting new people, seeing the new and familiar sites, and checking out the the new watering holes.
